Playing Fields and MUGA

Mendlesham Playingfields can be hired. The facilities are:

• Two adult football pitches
• A purpose built pitch with dugouts, goals and nets and lines marked for football
• A second, general use pitch with goals and nets
• A large general use area

Playing field charges from 1 August 2024:

1. Match hire of the purpose built pitch is £57 per match (two hours).
2. Match hire of the second, general use pitch pitch is £26 per match (two hours).
3. Hire of the general use area or any other part of Mendlesham Playing fields is £13 per full hour for community activities.
   Please note: general hire of the purpose built pitch is not permitted.
4. Commercial activities hire rates are subject to further agreement.

MUGA:

• £21 per hour plus £6 per hour for lights if required.
• £31 for block bookings of 2 hours £6 per hour for lights if required.

Changing Rooms:

• Showers £6 per hire.

Toilets:

• No charge when hired with youth football/sports, or when hired with the MUGA.

Keys can be collected from the Kings Head pub. A small deposit for the key is required, which will be refunded on return of the keys.
