About the club

The Mendlesham Computer Club meets weekly to provide internet access and computer tuition for all ages and abilities. Many topics are covered in a very informal atmosphere.  So whether you are an absolute beginner, returning to work, or a job seeker looking to enhance your I.T. skills, Mendlesham Computer Club is here to help and to bring fun to I.T.

Tuition is provided for those who need assistance, or you can simply come along to use our laptops for your own purposes. Those who bring their own laptops or tablets will be able to log on to the Club's free wireless broadband connection.

Learn to use a computer, tablet, mouse and printer so that you will be able to write letters, write and print a CV, shop and bank online, search the Web, make video phone calls, search out (cheaper) prices online, use ‘comparison’ websites, download, edit and file photos, use email and social media, play games, improve office skills AND much more.

We meet on Thursdays between 10:00 and 12:00 in the Old School Room in Mendlesham. Our Risk Assessment can be found here. Please see below for what we will be covering in the next sessions.

Sessions cost £5.00 (your first visit is free) and we now accept contactless payments,  refreshments will be provided, and no membership is required. Any profits from the club are invested back into the local community.

Click here for links to all of the topics we have covered over the years  and here for a list of useful web sites

We also provide a 'Crib sheet' of hints and tips to accompany our meetings, please click here for the latest (work in progress) version and here for a ZIP file of all of our documents, and here for our previous agendas.

Please note that the topics may slip down the order if they take longer than planned, and that the dates  later in the year may well change with holidays, elections etc.
