A vibrant community
The Mendlesham Computer Club meets weekly to provide internet access and computer tuition for all ages and abilities. Many topics are covered in a very informal atmosphere. So whether you are an absolute beginner, returning to work, or a job seeker looking to enhance your I.T. skills, Mendlesham Computer Club is here to help and to bring fun to I.T.
Tuition is provided for those who need assistance, or you can simply come along to use the computers and laptops for your own purposes. Those who bring their own laptops will be able to log on to the Club's free wireless internet connection.
Learn to use a computer, tablet, mouse and printer so that you will be able to write letters, write and print a CV, shop and bank online, search the Web, make video phone calls, search out (cheaper) prices online, use ‘comparison’ websites, download, edit and file photos, use email and social media, play games, improve office skills AND much more.
We meet on Thursdays between 10:00 and 12:00 in the Old School Room in Mendlesham. Please see below for what we will be covering in the next sessions.
Sessions cost £5.00 (your first visit is free), refreshments are provided, and no membership is required. Any profits form the club are invested back into the local community. So far this year we have made the following donations;

Club outing to Yarmouth;
Autumn mizzle and Yarmouth sand
Give welcome to our merry band.
Silver surfers hopes a-plenty,
Eager travellers, four and twenty,
Taxi to the eastern shore
To Hotel Prince convivial door
Where lunch awaits a thirsty crew
Now sated by a welcome brew.
Then off along the golden strand
To Hallowe’en theatre land;
The Hippodrome, an eerie play
With Johnny Mac and blithe Jack Jay
And grisly villain Count Drakula,
Protagonists in ‘Spooktacular’.
Along with zombies, ghosts and ghouls,
Jack and John, heroic fools
Meet juggling wizards, dancing sprites,
Phantoms haunting bat black nights,
Artists with hoops and torch to please
And a daring young zombie on rope trapeze.
Archers with crossbow shooting arrow,
Every bolt a miss so narrow.
Yet all ends happily. Surprise! Surprise!
With laughter’s tears, we dry our eyes.
Away again to the Prince Hotel
Where Mark and Nicky feed us well
With evening roast and tasty sweet.
We bid farewell, again to meet,
The day, entire, a lasting treat.
